WE ARE ACCEPTING BOOKINGS FOR OPEN EVENTS FOR 2021 AND LOOK FORWARD TO WELCOMING YOU TO OSWESTRY GOLF CLUB

Please use this link to see the WHS Course handicap table for OGC. Men's competitions will be played from white markers and ladies' competitions from red markers unless advised otherwise.

NB. Competitors must hold a current WHS handicap and be a member of a recognised golf club.

Re COVID - we have not scheduled any events before May, by which time we hope that golf will have returned to something like normal. If circumstances change we will offer the options of cancellations, rescheduling, refunds etc. Players will be advised re protocols before each event.

Online booking for Open Competitions

Catering - will be available from early morning for bacon baps / breakfasts etc and run throughout the day. A variety of traditional golf club "snacks" will be available alongside more substantial meals.

Dress Code – Whilst we encourage you to showcase your style in your own way, we do ask you to adhere to traditional golfing dress code. Trousers, Polo Shirt, Golf Shoes are all good with us, we are less keen on jeans, trainers and t-shirts. If you are in any doubt just drop us a line and we will be happy to clarify.

Distance Measuring Devices – You are welcome to use Distance Measuring device, but only those designed to measure distance only. Any device which has slope, wind etc capabilities is not allowed. If you do use one of these devices (regardless of whether you have used the slope/wind etc option) you would be in breach of rule 14-3, which unfortunately results in disqualification.

Buggies – Buggies are permitted in all 18 hole Open Competitions but there are medical restrictions for the 36 hole Open event and a medical exemption from a Dr or permission from Secretary / Committee required.
