Another successful Xmas Skins Mixed competition - Friday 5th Dec
Our lady members play this fun competition throughout the summer months but at Xmas the men are also invited to enter teams in the Xmas Skins. Despite concerns about the weather and a few last minute withdrawals the competition went ahead with a shotgun start at 9.30am playing an AM-AM Stableford in teams of 4 (best 2 scores to count)
Many thanks to the competition organisers Judith Thornell, Di Jones and Margaret Dunbar (all proceeds from Skins competitions are used to fund club projects), to Mens Captain James Woodward and Ladies Captain Kath Jones for presenting the prizes and to the catering team for providing a wonderful Christmas carvery lunch to a full clubhouse.
This fun format awards 'money' to the team with the best outright score on each hole and the team with the most 'cash' wins the trophy.
