| Our Ladies Section numbers some 165 ladies and is believed to be the largest in Shropshire. We are an extremely active section of the Club both on our lovely course and socially.
Ladies Competition Day is a Tuesday and we have a full diary of competitions running through the season - medals, stableford, match-play, Board Competitions and qualifiers for National Competitions (some of which can also be played on a Sunday. In addition Ladies can enter knock-out competitions both individually and with partners (male and female) to be played on days to suit competitors. In the winter months we run a "Draw For Partners" system playing both 9 and 18 hole competitions. These give us an opportunity to play with all members of the club. And we have a lot of fun playing a variety of games in our Christmas competitions.
The Ladies host 4 Open meetings and one Invitation meeting annually. Details of our Opens and entry forms can be found by clicking HERE.
We have an enthusiastic league team and we have a number of friendly matches both home and away open to all members. Each year we enjoy a day away on an exchange basis to another club and we also have a "weekend away" which is extremely popular.
Socially the ladies arrange evenings during the year when a speaker is invited and we enjoy a glass of wine together. We welcome all new members to our club and feel that we are on the verge of an extremely exciting future with the opening of our new clubhouse and all the wonderful facilities it will offer us all.
Membership is currently available and details of subscription rates for 2011 can be found by clicking HERE.
